The Canadian Wildlife Museum's  regular summer hours of operation are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Sunday (7 days a week).  Winter hours and viewing during other dates , or times such as evenings or on weekends will by by appointment only. Spring/summer 2023 opening will be May 15. to September 18. Phone us at  250-545-6090 (Ruth) or  250-545-4614 (Ken)   or   250-545-9740 (Museum)  to set up an appointment for special Museum viewing times or to shop in our unique wildlife gift shop. Recommended viewing time is a minimum of  half an hour , but many with an interest in wildlife will take an hour to view. Last admission to view Museum is half hour before closing. Appointments are very flexible, so just give us a phone call and we will try to accommodate you as best we can.  Appointments will be subject to our availability.

The "Canadian Wildlife Gift Shop" has a great selection of unique, wildlife and nature related novelties, souvenirs and gifts for sale. We have a large selection of clothing, jewelry, rocks, carvings, games, puzzles, art cards, note books, calendars, journals, kitchen ware, mugs, plush stuffies, hats, toques, books, ornaments, slingshots, antlers, crafts, and much, much more for sale. In the gift shop we have tried to stock things related to Canada, Wildlife and Nature. We are catering to B.C. Tourism but we have lots of things for local shoppers as well. If you are looking for Wildlife related gifts, you need to come for a visit. The Museum and Gift Shop are a great place to visit, relax and enjoy the outstanding beauties of Canadian Wildlife and Nature, in air conditioned comfort. We also have frozen ice cream novelties, cold drinks and snacks available.
